Weeks 1 & 2
Accountability - a situation in which people know who is responsible for something and can ask them to explain its state or quality
Collaborate - work together on a common enterprise of project
Expectation - wishing with confidence of fulfillment
Goal - the state of affairs that a plan is intended to achieve and that (when achieved) terminates behavior intended to achieve it
Integrity - an unreduced or unbroken completeness or totality
Objective - the goal intended to be attained (and which is believed to be attainable)
Procedure - a process or series of acts especially of a practical or mechanical nature involved in a particular form of work
Respect - the condition of being honored (esteemed or respected or well regarded)
Blog - a shared on-line journal where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies
Browser - a computer program that allows you to look at and search through information on the internet
Default - the way that something will appear or be done if you make no other choice, especially on a computer
Link - an interconnecting circuit between two or more locations for the purpose of transmitting and receiving data

Algorithm- a set of step by step instructions
Boolean- used in programming today including the operations of AND , OR , NOT , XOR.
Conditional Statement- statement performed if true or false
Debug- looking deep into the issues and removing the errors that are found
Event handler- the action that happened as a result in a user and another users source such as clicking right on a mouse
Glitch- an error or issue in a program
January & February
Design Process- the process in which you use to build something
Problem- a question that is solved
Concept- a general idea
Brainstorming- when everyone is contributing in ideas
Generate- to produce many ideas
Research- closely studying something
Iterate- to say or do again repeatedly
Solution- the method & process of solving a problem
Construct- to form by putting together parts
Test- to try something to see if it is in working conditions
Prototype- a fully scaled working model
Evaluate- to examine and judge something carefully
Weeks 9 & 10
Actions- Something that happens in response to an event. Like the setting a score or playing a sound .
Backgrounds- Colors or large images that are used as foregrounds for the rooms where the game takes place
Events- Specify how objects should behave
Executable file- A file that is in the format the computer can read that humans cant read
GML (Game Maker Language) - Programming language built into game maker.
Instances- Is one particular of an object
Objects- Are entities on the game that do things.
Resources- In game maker you can define various types of information
Rooms- Levels in which the game takes place.
Sprites- Program using the programming language built into game maker
